Choosing your lighting

We don’t supply furniture lighting, but specialist lighting suppliers offer plenty of options to help you personalise your piece. Lighting must be purchased separately.

LED spotlights can highlight favourite objects, while LED strips can add a soft glow to display cabinets, TV stands and sideboards. Suitability depends on the particular furniture and lighting system you choose.

Check before installing

Choose lighting suitable for enclosed furniture and your particular finish, following the lighting supplier’s installation and ventilation instructions. Check the space needed for lights, cables, connectors and power supplies before buying.

Planning cable routes

Check existing cable routes first. Before drilling any additional cable holes, check the furniture manufacturer’s guidance and avoid glass, fittings and structural parts. If you are unsure, seek advice before modifying your furniture.
